Parental engagement is paramount to children’s success in school but on occasions barriers can make involving parents/carers difficult and, at times, impossible. Failure to attend meetings or respond to correspondence can have a severe impact on a child’s achievement.

This training delivers strategies to encourage parental engagement and advice on how to overcome barriers such as denial, aggression or generally hard to reach.
