VIP Education Director
VIP Education Ltd was formed in 2020 by Matthew Hogg. He comes from a hard working family with a background of 70 plus years of experience in a variety of educational settings. With these strengths he has amalgamated all the attributes into one company along with a staff team who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from their own previous work experience. He has always had a passion for the promotion of Children & Young People’s well-being. Previous to this role he had a year and a half stint working with the local authority for the sport and leisure team. He has the privilege of over seeing all the fantastic services we offer, and this is something he thoroughly enjoys. Lesley Hogg, our Attendance Lead, started working in education in 1988. Beginning working in behaviour schools and part of a behaviour support team, Lesley then went on to work as Attendance Specialist for the Education Welfare Service for Staffordshire Authorities from 1998.
VIP staff are qualified & experienced practitioners
All staff have a background in either Education, Behaviour Welfare, Counselling, Play Therapy, CBT, Nurture, Family Support, National Governing Sports Qualification, Mental Health Training or Youth Work. This enables you to have the support you need when you need it. They have worked at the sharp end of operational delivery and have an in- depth knowledge and understanding of the needs of schools, families and children. VIP Education staff are also experienced Family Liaison officers and early intervention Attendance Officers who offer further school based support.
In our experience it is the school that provides the greatest direct influence on school attendance.

VIP Education has a proven track record in all areas of attendance. We have improved whole school attendance, lowered persistent absence and improved outcomes for children and young people in receipt of pupil premium.
