Prevent training extends on the area within Safeguarding concerned with children who are vulnerable to radicalisation.

The course develops awareness of who is at risk of being targeted and what your staff can do to reduce the risks of radicalisation and extremism.

Attachment & Trauma Training

This training helps identify signs of attachment issues and/or trauma and the impact this can have upon children within school and their families.

This course looks at recognising the signs of attachment and trauma and discusses how it may impact the pupils in you educational setting and gives practical strategies on how to help support children.

The 3 hour Attachment & Trauma training session can be split into sessions.

Disguised Compliance

The NSPCC defines it in the following way: ‘Disguised compliance’ involves a parent or carer giving the appearance of co-operating with child welfare agencies to avoid raising suspicions, to allay professional concerns and ultimately to diffuse professional intervention.

This training, delivered by an experienced trainer and safeguarding practitioner with over 25 years experience, looks at the signs to look out for and how to address concerns of disguised compliance whilst still being respectful including being aware of correct process when they suspect parents or carers of disguised compliance
